Shipping policy
Shipping heavy fragile rocks are tricky, and the shipping services are getting more expensive. We do not make any money on shipping, so please know that. Shipping estimates are listed on this page and are subject to change based on the shipping carrier prices. But if shipping looks like a high cost, please let me know ASAP, something might have been calculated wrong.
First-class packages now come with minimal insurance (just enough to cover your items), which is why our First Class prices are higher. Priority and USPS packages come with $100 insurance. If you want your package insured beyond that, you will need to let me know BEFORE checking out. Unfortunately as mentioned above, I am not responsible for USPS or UPS damages or lost items. Additional insurance is about $5-10 per package, which would be in addition to shipping costs. If you want signature confirmation, that will also be an additional $3-5.
FIRST CLASS - $5-6 (only for orders that are under 8oz total)
Packages weighing less than 8 oz. Think jewelry items, a few tumbles, a worry stone, etc. The total package including the box and stuffing must weigh under 8oz.
SMALL PRIORITY - $9.50
Packages with a good amount of small items, or one or two decent-sized pieces. The rough package size is 7" long by 4" wide and 4" tall, or 7" wide by 5" wide and 3" tall. Weight does not matter here for US addresses.
MEDIUM PRIORITY - $15.50
Similar to the Padded Envelope, weight does not matter here. It is what fits inside the box. A TON of little pieces, a handful of decent-sized pieces, or one big-ish piece. Your rough size limit is roughly 10" long, 8" wide, and 5" tall.
LARGE PRIORITY - $22
Same as Medium Flat Rate, but you can fit even more! Or a big statement piece. Your size limit is roughly 12" by 12" by 5".
Larger orders may require multiple boxes, so the next level is $38. Even larger or oversized items are $45 and up.
If your item is returned to me due to your error (wrong shipping address for example), you will have to cover the re-shipment. If it was my error, I will of course take care of sending it again.
